Our Process

Full Event Branding

We start with a custom logo or monogram, something that gives your guests a glimpse of the day to come. Then we build on that brand to create all the materials you need for the day of your event—programs, escort cards, table numbers, menus, etc. We pull in elements to support and expand the brand’s aesthetic, such as patterns, colors and textures. We also work with creative language to ensure your wedding brand fully expresses your personality.

From the save the date to the invitation and through the suite of materials you need for your big day, the look and feel of your wedding brand will unfold as a progression, letting you share your story with your guests in a way that is one-of-a-kind.

One And Done

You only need an invitation, or just some custom cocktail napkins... we are here to help with whatever your needs are—no matter how big or small. We will work together through presentations and revisions to create the a la carte items that will accompany you on your big day.


Because no two invitations are alike,
there is no set price for printing. When quoting invitations we must think about quantity, how many pieces, what type of paper, printing process, etc. Design fees are based on an hourly rate and start at 280.00 for save the dates and 500.00
for invitations.

To give you a rough idea on price, 100 invite sets would start/come in around 900.00 for digital, 1750.00 for a mix of letterpress and digital and 3000.00 for letterpress. If you have a budget to stay within, just let us know and we can try to accommodate it. As well, if you love an invite you have seen and it’s beyond your budget, please let us know and we can talk about ways to get the pricing more in line.

We do offer optional services as well to help make the process as easy for you as possible. A few of those services include guest addressing (with digital printing or with a calligrapher), assembly and mailing services.


It is best to book us 2 months before you want to mail. Design can take 2-4 weeks and printing is typically 3 weeks (give or take, depending on the design). Rush
services are available for additional fees.


When making the decision to collaborate we ask for a non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due before shipping or at pick up. We currently accept paypal and personal checks.

We want everything to be perfect. We do not offer hard copy proofs, but rather email color PDF proofs. Spelling and information errors are the responsibility of the client. Please proof read carefully!

Invitations are delivered flat and not assembled. If you would like, we are happy to assemble your invitation for an additional fee. As well, in some cases we are happy to drop your invite in the mail, however, we can not be held responsible for any damage or missing invites. The post office is a funny place!

Depending on the complexity of the project, and if we are assemble, please allow 3-5 weeks for delivery after print approval. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the client.

We charge 7.25% sales tax on North Carolina state orders only.

Orders cancelled after final proof approval will be billed in full.

As a nationally recognized designer, Melissa’s career started in New York before moving to Chicago to work for Kym Abrams Design—a small boutique design firm specializing in branding and corporate design. As a senior designer (and spending over 7 years with the firm), it was there that she developed a true passion for branding, paper and pushing the envelope.

Melissa’s work has been seen in design publications such as Communication Arts, Print and HOW Magazine as well as in a number of books including The Best of Brochure Design and 1000 Packaging Designs. Melissa has also been featured in Graphis, an international design publication, winning one of four platinum awards in the world.

Melissa currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, two wild little ones and one crazy bernese mountain dog.
